Ari Gunawan
I was born in a Balinese village known for its fine silver craftsmanship, and I learned the art from my grandfather and parents. By 16, I became serious about silver work and used it to support my education. I met my wife while learning silver crafting, and now we create designs together. Being a father to two sons has changed my outlook on life, making me more thoughtful and responsible. Inspired by my surroundings, I design jewelry using locally available materials like silver, copper, and gold. I work with my wife and three part-time artisans to bring these ideas to life. My childhood love for fishing still remains, but silver crafting is my passion. I’m proud to carry forward my family’s tradition.
