In traditional Indian families, it isn’t easy for a housewife to start a design workshop, but I was fortunate that my husband also shares the same interests. Together, we create beautiful jewelry. My husband is an expert in crafting jewelry while I do the designing. My father was a jeweler and I was highly inspired by him. I grew up watching him make amazing jewelry with his own hands and this really fascinated me. I come from the majestic city of Jaipur, the pink city. I had a joyful childhood with four sisters at home. We had so much fun and I, being the youngest of the four, was pampered and loved. We also have a brother who is the youngest of all, and he is a real sweetheart.

About our Artist: Aparna enjoys continuing her family’s silver legacy. ‘I come from Jaipur, land of gemstones and silver, where many jewelers come from families who have inherited the silversmith’s craft from their ancestors.
