Vegetable Retanned Leather
Our leather is made through vegetable retanning which is the process of transforming leather by means of plant based tannins. Our leather will age beautifully, deepening in color and softening with time.
Empowering Artisans
The handcrafting of our leather goods provides important employment for people in jajmau, an ancient area that dates back to c. 1200 – 1300 BCE. We recognise a wider responsibility by supporting the livelihood of artisans and indirectly their family.
