I previously owned a Breville high-capacity centrifuge-style juicer, and this was meant as a budget replacement. Unlike my old model, this one uses a cold-press design. I chose it because of the price and its promise of being easy to clean.
It does the job, but the juice comes out thicker—closer to a smoothie than true juice. Small bits, like strawberry seeds or pulp, often sneak through. If you prefer smooth juice, you’ll need to strain it, but the pulp clogs a strainer quickly, which makes the process tedious. The tradeoff is fewer internal parts (so cleanup is simpler), but that also means more fragments in the juice.
Cleaning overall is straightforward, but the waste outlet is tricky. There’s a rubber gasket/flange that’s hard to reach, even with the supplied brush. A pipe cleaner helps, or you can accept that the waste area won’t ever be spotless.
For me, I prefer juice on the watery side rather than thick like a smoothie. Because of that, I’m deducting two stars—it’s decent, but not the best choice if you want clear, pulp-free juice.
