Let’s start making a candle with our spiral wooden candle wick! How to make candles with our spiral wicks?

1. Insert the spiral wick to a metal base.

2. Place the wood wick with metal base in the middle of a candle tin.

3. Pour some melted soy wax, and wait until the wax cools and solidifies.

(You just need to hold the wick when pouring wax. No need to use a sticker to fix the metal base to the bottom of tin, as the weight of the base and wick will just ensure it stay upright.)

4. Trim the wick to a proper height. About 5cm pokes out the surface is recomended.

(If too low, the wick will be hard to lit and flame will be weak and small. If too high, the flame will be unstable and flickering.).

About the wick width: Our 10mm width wick should be slightly smaller. But please no worries, it’s a perfect size for your homemade candles. Through our testing, our wick can perfectly fit 8cm diameter candle tins, that means it‘s suitable for most sizes of candles tins on the market.
